Kumite Camp Hard August 22-24, 2003 

The third edition of the Kumite Camp was held in Hard (Austria) surrounded by the beautiful Lake of Constance and the mountains. Dojos fromSwitzerland, Austria and Belgium had gathered. Main instructor this year was Sensei Peter Steinmann.
We had 3 training sessions a day. The 6 o’clock trainings were mainly stamina training and swimming in the lake, which was fun! The other trainings Sensei focused on fighting training: technical and pads training and lots of sparring. For many fighters, this camp was a good preparation for the upcoming Swiss Open Tournament, which was held September 20, 2003.
Because of the extremely nice weather we were always able to eat outside and enjoy the well-deserved Austrian food. Also at night the warm temperatures (and the will to enjoy après-karate together) invited to drink some beers. After 3 years you could see that everybody had got to know each other very well and that all of us really enjoyed being together.
